On three separate occasions I had the privilege to be able to photograph this amazing animal. The first time I ever saw this wolf and the pack I had to struggle to compose myself because all I wanted to do was cry...I was so moved by them.An amazing powerful creature the wolf...loved by many and reviled by some others. I am in the legion of those who believe the wolf should be reintroduced throughout the United States. Not a thoroughly popular idea...but none the less I shall continue to support this idea until my last days upon this earth...
Apache died on March 10, 2010 from cancer....
